Text messages and calls
Last updated August 23, 2026
Sureday reminds you about dates you saved yourself — an immigration deadline, a tax date, a renewal — and keeps going until you confirm you have it handled. Texts and automated phone calls are the later steps of that escalation, after a push notification and an email.
How you opt in
There is exactly one way, and it happens inside your own account:
- Create an account at sureday.us/sign-up and verify your email address.
- In the setup wizard, enter your own mobile number.
- Verify that number by entering a one-time code we text you (so nobody can enrol a number they do not control).
- Tick this checkbox, which is never pre-ticked:
I agree to receive reminder texts and calls from Sureday at the number I provided. Message frequency varies. Msg&data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel.

We store the date, time and IP address of that agreement. No texts or calls are ever sent to a number that has not completed these steps, and we never message anyone who has not asked us to. Consent is not a condition of using Sureday — email and app notifications work without it.
What we send
Transactional reminders only — never marketing. Message frequency depends entirely on how many reminders you create and whether you confirm them. Typical messages:
- Sureday: Green card renewal — Mar 15, 9:00 AM EDT. Reply YES to confirm, SNOOZE for 1hr. Reply STOP to opt out.
- Sureday: Tax filing deadline — Apr 15, 10:00 AM EDT. Reply YES to confirm, SNOOZE for 1hr. Reply STOP to opt out.
Automated calls say the reminder aloud and ask you to press 1 to confirm, or 9 to be reminded again the next morning. Message and data rates may apply.
How to stop them
- Reply STOP (or UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, QUIT, END) to any text. That number is opted out immediately and permanently; we reply once to confirm and then nothing more.
- Reply START (or UNSTOP) to opt back in.
- Reply HELP for help, or email help@sureday.us.
- Reply YES to confirm a reminder, SNOOZE to delay it an hour, or STATUS to list what is waiting on you.
Opting out of texts and calls does not close your account or delete your reminders — email and app notifications continue.
No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with anyone. Your mobile number is disclosed only to the messaging provider named below, and only so it can deliver the message you asked us to send.
